The Entrepreneurship Committee at IWOO has the important role of increasing the number of successful Iranian-Canadian women. We look to help entrepreneurs by hosting workshops related to important topics in business. There are Iranian-Canadian newcomers with valuable experiences in business that would like to run their own business in Ontario. Also, there are many successful entrepreneurs who would like to develop their businesses and grow. IWOO can be a strong bridge between them and those who are looking for jobs.

IWOO, in partnership with other organizations, hosts employment workshops where participants can learn about a number of key ideas that will aid in their employment journey. Workshops cover topics such as, LinkedIn, resume writing, finding employment and current opportunities, and interview skills.
In partnership with JVS Toronto and running every last Thursday of each month, this service provides aid and introduces participants to resources that help in the job searching process. Participants are offered one-on-one meetings with employment experts where they can discuss what the best career options are for them. With the expert, they can also create a resume, prepare for job interviews, and get connected to jobs.
